We had the pleasure of taking photos of the Fox family today.  They were SO FUN to work with and we got extremely lucky to have a photogenic family as well as beautiful backdrops (courtesy of their lovely home).

Yesterday Erica and I were outside for about 4 hours shooting the Winter Wonderland portrait sessions, and i have a confession to make.  Scheduling 4 hours of outdoor photo shoots seems like a lot more reasonable of an idea when you are planning it from Virginia, and the temperature is usually a steady 56 degrees. That being said, it was a blustery -17 degrees yesterday with the wind chill, and all of our clients still made it out and were troopers!  Here is a little sneak peak for them:

Let it snow!

When we first advertised out Winter Wonderland portrait sessions, we were wondering if it would actually <i>look</i> like a winter wonderland for the sessions, and what do you know – 10 inches of snow today!

If you have a portrait session scheduled with us for Sunday, be sure to wear your cutest, warmest winter garb possible.  We will be outside for the full 45 minutes of your session! We can’t wait to see all of you!

This morning I took portraits of a friend of mine, Joanna, and her family.  It was a really fun and, believe it or not, relaxing time! :)  While I was taking photos it was evident to me that there is a strong love between Joanna and David which I greatly admire.
