Pre-Winter Days

How do I start this entry? I have tried three different sentences and none of them express my joy in meeting my friend Ann’s new baby girl. Ann and I hung out when we were home for Christmas while she was still pregnant. She was due to have the baby at ANY minute, and sure enough I was able to meet baby June the day Andrew and I boarded the plane to return to Norfolk. It was amazing to meet her and hold her and finally see a new born baby. She’s beautiful just like her Mama.

I love blueberries. They are my new favorite fruit to snack on (particularly while I’m watching the new 90210).
The other day I was washing them and realized they looked exceptionally more delicious than usual so I snapped this photo.

Andrew has already headed home and tomorrow I will be joining him to celebrate Christmas in Michigan. This means we will be on vacation and away from our computers pretty much 95% of the time for the next 10 days. The 5% will be my partner Andrew checking and keeping up with any Blue Shutter inquires. :)
Here’s a self portrait I took a couple years back in Michigan at Christmas time.
Merry Christmas!

This past weekend my beautiful friend Kristen got married. It was such a classy event! Kristen asked me to take photos of her and the bridesmaids getting ready and I was so honored to be there and be part of such an intimate and special moment. Kristen was a wonderful bride. She took such care of her friends and family.
Kristen, you looked beautiful! Congrats to you and Tyler!

I love this little moment shared between Kristen and her bridesmaid.
